Using Novell GroupWise on the Emory Virtual Desktop

Instructions on how to use Novell GroupWise Emory virtual desktop.
If you use the Virtual Desktop Emory Novell GroupWise for the first time, there should be one of the following screen:
1: The system will request user name and password. Remember that your network ID is usually your first name and last name, not your user name GroupWise.
Hint: enter the information you previously used to get into GroupWise WebAccess.
Now your information is saved, you will not have to do it again in the future.

How to use notice
Function to notify you automatically to a new mail notification, or an appointment that you have set an alarm. To use this function, follow the steps below:
     Go to Menu bar> Tools> Options.
     When you see the window Options, Environment.
     A check box with text will "launch Launch Report", click the check box and click OK and close the window.
Hint: whenever you want to disable notifications, please follow the steps above and uncheck the box.

Save Attachments
To save an attachment while viewing a message, right click and choose "Save as" on the attachment.

By setting the default save location is Emory attachment of your health care "home" directory. You can choose to save the attachment location. To see what positions are available to you, please click on the down arrow in the window to save attachments.Note: Remember that your location is available may vary from the picture below, it depends on your group ID. This image and the guide is only an example.You are using a virtual desktop, so the "Desktop" that you see is not the desktop of your computer. You can not save attachments to your desktop or C: drive.D:, E: and O: drive you see here is that drives the virtual desktop. You can not save your attachment to these drives.There may be some drives that you can see but can not save attachments. The following is a list of places that you can use to save your file attachments:You have been granted access to the directory "home" and "group". These directories are Emore health care shared folder. "Home" is your own private directory, for you. "Group" is a folder that is shared by everyone in your group, everything that is shared by people in your department can be found here. When you save your attachments in one of these folders, you can access it from any computer with Emory Healthcare Virtual Desktop is installed.$ $ C and D drive is the drive to your local computer. In case you do not have D: drive in your computer, you will not see the D drive here.
